A singer-songwriter, composer, and Renaissance woman, Sarah Slean joins Chamberfest Artistic Director Carissa Klopoushak for an in-depth conversation on creativity. Known initially for her soaring range and stunning pop work, in recent years Slean has taken on orchestral arrangements, first for herself, later for artists ranging from Clara Schumann to Dan Mangan. Slean has also composed original chamber and choral works and film scores. The pair will discuss composition, creativity, and her recent collaborations.
