Phenomenal violinist and violist Yura Lee will join Chamberfest’s Artistic Director Carissa Klopoushak for an in-depth conversation over Zoom before her highly anticipated debut performance in Ottawa with the Ironwood Quartet on February 21.

A prizewinner at countless international competitions, a recipient of an Avery Fisher Career Grant, and a regular at prestigious chamber music festivals, Yura Lee is an exceptional artist. As a multifaceted musician, including soloist and chamber musician, she is one of very few string players who is equally virtuosic on the violin and viola. Her career spans three decades of global travels, captivating audiences with music from baroque to modern all over the world.
