Ottawa’s Ironwood Quartet will be joined by the phenomenal violist Yura Lee in a program showcasing the late Canadian composer Rebekah Cummings’ sole string quartet, an underrated and rarely-performed quartet by Benjamin Britten, and Antonín Dvořák’s fabulous and folky “American” viola quintet.

A prizewinner at countless international competitions, a recipient of an Avery Fisher Career Grant, and a regular at prestigious chamber music festivals, Yura Lee is an exceptional artist, and Chamberfest is thrilled to host her Ottawa debut.
