Art of Time Ensemble: Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
Chamberfest turns 30 and we are opening our tricenary festival with a bang! We begin the celebrations with Art of Time Ensemble’s Sgt. Pepper, an album re-imagined and re-invented through newly commissioned arrangements from pop, jazz, and classical composers. Sung by Canadian pop icons Steven Page, Chris Murphy, Jeremy Fisher, and Andy Maize, and performed by some of the world’s finest instrumentalists, their fusion of high art and popular culture leave audiences “…invigorated, challenged, surprised, delighted” and wanting more! But it’s now or never: after 80 productions and recordings and extensive touring (including appearances at Chamberfest), it’s this beloved ensemble’s final season, so don’t miss your chance to “sit back and let the evening go,” with a concert that is guaranteed to inspire, full of such “tremendous talent, it’ll make you giddy.”
