Rainer Schmidt

Rainer Schmidt studied with Atila Aydintan, Hanover Music Academy and in Cincinnati, USA, with Delay / K. Sassmannshaus, and string quartet with W. Levin. In 1987, he joined the Hagen Quartet. Since then he has played all over the world with this ensemble, recording over 40 CDs for “Deutsche Grammophon”.
