Olivia Adams

Olivia Adams is a pianist, teacher, and researcher in Ottawa, ON. She holds a MA in Music and Feminist Studies, a B.Mus. in Piano Performance, and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Music Research, examining piano literature through lenses of Critical Disability Studies, Critical Race Theory, and Intersectionality.  Olivia is the author of Loud and Clear: A Guide to Levelled Piano Music by Women Composers in the 20th and 21st Centuries. She has won numerous awards for her work in inclusivity in piano music. Olivia is the host of the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra’s podcast Loud and Clear Podcast: amplifying the voices of women in music.
