NO HAY BANDA is a Montreal-based organization committed to the production and performance of music rooted in exploratory and avant-garde practices. Recently described as “wonderfully bizarre” by CBC News, NO HAY BANDA presents an annual concert series in Montreal and represents a variable ensemble that performs and tours original productions. Throughout these activities, NO HAY BANDA aims to provide a space for artists working on the fringes of established genres to realize projects that would not take place otherwise. NO HAY BANDA has performed at festivals including FIMAV, Modulus by Music on Main, Suoni Per Il Popolo, Open Ears and Québec Musiques Parallèles, and launched the in-house record label No Hay Discos in 2021.
