Justin Duhaime

Justin Duhaime is a passionate guitarist, composer, and teacher based in Ottawa. As a freelance musician playing rock, jazz, metal, classical, reggae, Carnatic, blues, indie, and more, he has performed at Chamberfest, JazzFest, FolkFest, and TulipFest, selling out concerts at both festivals and venues in the Ottawa area. He is the recipient of the Ottawa Arts Council’s 2018 RBC Emerging Artist Award, the first musician to ever receive the award, and is considered a top Django-style player in Canada and a leading figure in Ottawa’s jazz manouche scene. In 2015, Duhaime self-published a book entitled Justin Duhaime’s Guitar Guide and has written more than 40 compositions, done over 150 live performances, and published over 300 videos on YouTube. Duhaime is sponsored by DK Guitars and plays a Black Sword guitar.
