Jonelle Sills

Canadian soprano Jonelle Sills has been praised for her “warm, full, elastic tone” (Schmopera, Greg Finney), and was named one of CBC Music’s classical “30 under 30” performers for 2020. Recent highlights include her role debut in the fall of 2019 as Mimì in Puccini’s La Bohème with Against The Grain Theatre and her symphonic debut with the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra singing Mahler’s 2nd Symphony. Her past roles include Musetta in La Boheme at the Muskoka Opera Festival, Micaëla in Carmen with Summer Opera Lyric Theatre, and Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus, Cecchina in La Cecchina, and the title role in Cendrillon with the Glenn Gould School.
