Drew Jurecka

Classically trained but comfortable in all genres, Jurecka performs primarily on violin, but also viola, saxophone, clarinet and mandolin and most recently on bandoneon as a member of the Payadora Tango Ensemble, for whom he has also composed, arranged and produced. He has performed on literally hundreds of albums for artists such as Alessia Cara, Chantal Kreviazuk, Jesse Cook and Buffy Sainte- Marie. He has composed for film and television and his orchestral arrangements have been performed by groups such as the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the National Arts Centre Orchestra.
