Béatrix Méthé
vocals
From birth, Béatrix Méthé was immersed in the world of music – her father, Claude Méthé, being a pioneer of traditional music in Quebec, and her mother, Dana Whittle, a renowned singer-songwriter from New England. In 2008, at age 13, she and her childhood friends formed the contemporary folk group Les Poules à Colin (now Rosier). With Rosier, Méthé has recorded five albums and tours the world, performing in major venues and acclaimed festivals in Canada, the United States, Europe, the United Kingdom, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. 2020 marked the debut of a collaboration with Canadian multi-instrumentalist Quinn Bachand, with whom she founded indie-pop duo Bachand Méthé.
