Susanne Schäffer

The Hungarian-German Violinist, Susanne Schäffer, was born in Stuttgart, Germany, to a musical household. At the age of 15 she moved to London and completed her studies at the Purcell School of Music with Prof. Dr. Felix Andrievsky. She then continued her solo violin studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Prof. Dora Schwarzberg where she graduated with distinction. Currently, she is a student in the chamber music class of Prof. Johannes Meissl at the University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Furthermore, she regularly seeks inspiration at master classes from musicians such as Hatto Beyerle, the late Tibor Varga, Gerhard Schulz, Ferenc Rados, Alfred Brendel and Steven Isserlis.
