Doors Open: Sisu Ensemble (Adaptive Concert)
The Sisu Ensemble brings joy and adventure to their piano-vocal concerts engaging children and their families in interactions relevant to the pieces they perform. Expect everything from classics like the Sound of Music to new compositions by living Canadian women composers to operatic songs in foreign languages like Finnish, all woven together with storytelling and movement to immerse their audiences in a musical landscape. This concert will take place in Woodside Hall at Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre.

Chamberfest Adaptive Concerts are performances for people with sensory sensitivities and exceptionalities, including autistic and neurodivergent children and adults. Family and friends are welcomed into a concert experience that takes into account special considerations such as pre-concert visual aids, storytelling and flexible spaces for movement, ensuring a comfortable environment for all to be creative and have fun with the music. Everyone is welcome!
