Thomas Annand is a multifaceted performer on organ, harpsichord and piano. During his three decades as Director of Music at St Andrew’s Church, Ottawa he gave 200 weekly organ recitals of repertoire spanning 5 centuries, as well as conducting annual performances of Bach. In 2022/23 he served as Interim Organist at the Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul in Montreal. A regular performer with the National Arts Centre Orchestra, in 2023 he was on stage accompanying recitatives on fortepiano in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, and as soloist in Handel’s Organ Concerto. He was a featured soloist in the world premiere of Christian Thomas’ Messe solennelle pour une pleine lune d’été with Opéra de Québec in 2023. Most recently he was the organ soloist with Les Violons du Roy and La Chapelle de Québec in performances of the Duruflé and Fauré Requiems at the Maison Symphonique.
