I have had the pleasure of knowing Phil since my days at McGill. We have performed together across the country, from BC to the Maritimes. One of our early performances together was at Chamberfest in 2009. I am so glad to have him back again to share this fantastic solo program with our Chamberfest community. Not only is he a compelling musician, Phil is an incredibly gregarious and charming person. When I asked him about his program, he said it grew around things we draw inspiration from: nature, spirituality, culture, and childhood stories.
