Our 2007-08 season opens with this unique chamber music concert featuring twelve Stradivarius violins from the renowned collection of the Nippon Music Foundation, played by world renowned musicians such as the Tokyo String Quartet. Presented by the Ottawa Chamber Music Society in collaboration with the National Arts Centre and the Nippon Music Foundation, and supported by the Nippon Foundation and the Embassy of Japan in Canada.

Be mesmerized by chamber music with a twist presented in two concerts at the funky Maxwell’s Bistro. New Music in New Places presents contemporary chamber music of Ottawa composers in a relaxed and laid back venue. The presence of the composer adds an interesting facet to these concerts. Presented in co-operation with the Canadian Music Centre.
